Does Crux require internet?

Crux, when used within one office location with no remote users, does not require internet access per se. However, when Crux users could be remote (outside office or at multiple office/geographic locations or on different networks), or involve SIP trunks, then Crux will be required to connect to internet as well. Connection to internet is also needed for software upgrades on Crux.
